Please read these terms and conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the training portal (“Portal”) provided by Louise Selby Dyslexia (“us/we”). By accessing or using the Portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
User Obligations:
a. You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the Portal.
b. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the registration process and to keep your account information up to date.
c. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, including your username and password.
Payment Obligations:
a. Refunds and Cancellations: Refunds will not be offered once a course is booked except by discussion with us
b. Short courses may be accessed for 30 days after the booking date – no extensions will be allowed except by discussion with us
c. Long courses may be accessed for 30 days after the final session is released – no extensions will be allowed except by discussion with us
d. If purchasing a course, you will not be able to access courses until payment funds have been received
License Grant:
- a. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Portal for personal or internal business purposes.
- b. You may not sublicense, sell, rent, lease, or otherwise distribute or transfer any rights granted to you in relation to the Portal
Intellectual Property Rights:
- a. All intellectual property rights in the Portal, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and patents, are owned by us.
- b. You agree not to record, copy, modify, distribute, display, perform, or create derivative works based on the Portal or any content available through the Portal unless expressly authorized by us.
Content:
- a. The Portal may include training materials, videos, text, graphics, and other content (“Content”) provided by the us or third parties.
- b. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the Content, and you agree to use it at your own risk.
- c. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, display, or sell any Content without the express permission of the respective copyright owners.
User Conduct:
- a. You agree to use the Portal in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- b. You will not engage in any conduct that may disrupt or interfere with the functioning of the Portal or compromise its security.
- c. You will not use the Portal for any illegal, harmful, or offensive activities, including but not limited to the dissemination of viruses, spam, or any form of unauthorized solicitation.
Privacy:
- a. Louise Selby Dyslexia’s Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information when using the Portal.
- b. By using the Portal, you consent to Louise Selby Dyslexia’s collection and use of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Limitation of Liability:
- a. We will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the Portal.
- b. We do not guarantee the availability, reliability, or accuracy of the Portal or its Content.
Termination:
- a. Louise Selby Dyslexia reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Portal at any time for any reason, without prior notice.
- b. Upon termination, your license to use the Portal will be revoked, and you must immediately cease all use of the Portal.
Modifications:
- a. We may modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice.
- b. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically for any changes.
- c. By continuing to use the Portal after the modifications, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
Governing Law:
