What are working memory difficulties?
Working memory is a huge part of learning and difficulties in this area can be an indicator of dyslexia and other types of neurodiversity. Working memory has recently been identified by the All Party Parliamentary Group for Dyslexia and Specific Learning Diffulties as a key skill needing screening in Key Stage 1 (age 5 – 7).
I have made a 3 minute film to help parents, educators and individuals understand what it might actually be like to go through a day at school with working memory difficulties.
